Join Andrew, Dylan, and special guest Jordan Rae for a lively and inspiring discussion on all things nerdy and creative! In this episode, we welcome cosplayer, streamer, graphic designer, and fledgling podcaster Jordan Rae to the show. Jordan shares her journey from designing logos in college to building a community through cosplay, streaming, and her new horror-themed podcast, Read It and Reap.
We dive into the challenges and surprises of getting started as a creator, how conventions and streaming have helped Jordan build confidence, and what it’s like to find your place in the geek community. Jordan also talks about her favorite cosplay builds (including some dangerously cool cardboard weaponry!), the creative hurdles of streaming, and why starting a podcast with a friend was both intimidating and rewarding.

I'm new to the world of content creation and still flexing my creative skills so figured I should show off the things I love! Starting off, I’m a cosplayer with a passion for bringing my favorite characters to life — whether it's anime, video games, or moves, I do it all! My dream convention to cosplay at is LA Comic Con - all of my favorite cosplayers attend and they always bring out the best of the best.
Speaking of video games, I'm an avid gamer who started gaming way back in the glory days of the Nintendo 64 and I haven’t put a game controller down since. Some of my all-time favorites include the classic Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time, Fall Out New Vegas, and Assassin's Creed Origins.
On another note, I'm a creative individual with a background in graphic design! I’ve designed logos for podcasts (including Read It and Reap - my personal and NEW podcast) and love finding ways to bring people's ideas to life.
