Alright, now that I've got your attention! Not every game can be a winner, score a 10 out of 10 and completely shift the industry with its innovation and quality. In this age of hyperbole, anything that doesn’t score at least an 8 on some gaming outlets review scale is often regarded as trash and not worth your time. Now to be clear, I’m not saying that these games are awful because they have below an 80 on metacritic, just that they didn’t perform as well critically and all tend to have some rough edges. And look, I totally understand that there are so many games coming out and they can be expensive, so we as consumers want to spend our money on something that we are most likely to enjoy. At the same time, there can be plenty of fun to be had with some games that don’t show up on game of the year lists.
